*Please note that any support you need regarding your email client software (app, email desktop software, etc) functionality, options, email signatures, etc, must be done directly with the software support you’re using. We are unable to provide support for any software or app you use with your official Lyquid supplied email addresses. As technology and software is continually changing, we cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of our guides. We do not endorse any email client software; we are providing our email configuration guides as examples and options you may decide to use with your Lyquid email addresses. You are welcome to use any email client software of your choosing.

Start with installing Outlook on your computer/laptop. Please be aware Outlook is not a free program and requires a subscription with Microsoft. Once installed, begin with choosing to Add a New Account. Once you do this, the next screen, click “Manual Setup or additional server types”

*VERY IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended that you use an email software program such as Microsoft Outlook or Gmail (online) as a base foundation for your email addresses. You need to find a program that allows for POP3 which Outlook (desktop version) and Gmail (online version) allow for. This means these programs back up your emails and store them – something device apps and we at Lyquid do not.

Choose “POP or IMAP” and click Next

Enter the “Name” for the email address. The “Name” is what you want people to see when they receive your emails. For example, most emails you receive from us will be from “Lyquid Agency.”

Enter your new email address, such as “info@yourdomain.com”

Choose POP3 from the drop down option

Enter your Incoming and Outgoing mail server information (this is usually the same information for both)

Enter your username and password (remember your username is your full email address).

Choose “Remember password”

Uncheck “Automatically text account…”

Choose “New Outlook Data File”

Choose “MORE SETTINGS”

Click on the “Outgoing Server” tab at the top of the pop up box.
CHECKMARK “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.” Now click on the “ADVANCED” tab at the top of the pop up box.

Fill in the following information:

– Incoming server (POP3): set this to 995

– Checkmark “This server requires an encrypted connection(SSL)

– Outgoing server (SMTP): 465

– Click the drop down and choose “SSL”

– Server Timeouts: drag arrow to 6 minutes 30 seconds (anything above 5 minutes will be fine)

– Checkmark “Leave a copy of messages on the server” (VERY IMPORTANT)

– Uncheckmark “Remove from server after X days”

– Checkmark “Remove from server when deleted from ‘Deleted items’

Click OK

Woo! Your email address is now setup on your computer or laptop device. Time to celebrate, right? – Not just yet! Be sure to test your email address on your device now. It’s best to send a test message to a personal email address of yours in order to make sure it shows up without issue. You’ll then want to send a reply back from your personal email address and make sure you receive your business email via this app. Annnnd…now your done.
