TypeApp | iOS Setup Guide

Available for smart phones & tablets

*Please note that any support you need regarding your email client software (app, email desktop software, etc) functionality, options, email signatures, etc, must be done directly with the software support you’re using. We are unable to provide support for any software or app you use with your official Lyquid supplied email addresses. As technology and software is continually changing, we cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of our guides. We do not endorse any email client software; we are providing our email configuration guides as examples and options you may decide to use with your Lyquid email addresses. You are welcome to use any email client software of your choosing.

Start with installing TypeApp on your device via the Apple store (it’s a free app). Once installed, begin with opening the all and choosing to Add a New Account and then choosing to “Add Other Account”
Choose “Add Other Account”
Enter your new email address, such as “info@yourdomain.com” along with your password given to you by Support. Be sure to “uncheck” the word Automatic under your login credentials!

Enter your login credentials again that were provided to you by our Support Team. Your “Username” is always your email address. Choose SSL/TLS for Security and 993 for your Port.

Enter your Outgoing credentials that were provided to you by our Support Team. Your “Username” is always your email address. Choose SSL for Security and 465 for your Outgoing Port.

Enter the “Name” for the email address. The “Name” is what you want people to see when they receive your emails. For example, most emails you receive from us will be from “Lyquid Agency.” The description setting is only for your app in case you add multiple email addresses (including your personal email addresses if you like the app), it helps to distinguish between each address.
You’ll want to activate push notifications otherwise your device will not be able to let you know when you have new emails.
Choose “OK” to allow push notifications.
Choose “OK” to allow access to your contacts.
Woo! Your email address is now setup on your device. Time to celebrate, right? – Not just yet! Be sure to test your email address on your device now. It’s best to send a test message to a personal email address of yours in order to make sure it shows up without issue. You’ll then want to send a reply back from your personal email address and make sure you receive your business email via this app. Annnnd…now your done.
